Lee Davis

Co-founder and CEO

  • Lee Davis, Co-founder and CEO of Dwellstar, has always had a passion for art, design, and creating memorable experiences.  He pursued his passion in art and animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design and went on to spend over 22 years in video game development at multiple AAA studios.  

  • In 2017, Lee and Georgie bought their first homestead cabin in north Joshua Tree, Ca.  and together they brought it back to it's orginal charm with modern conveiniences. Lee created colorful landscape paintings for it's orginal decor. 

  • Today, he is an active member of Short Term Rental Secrets, a global thinktank and mastermind group of leading short term rental managers. With this collective resource, his skills in vacation rental management have evolved with the market, incorporating cutting edge technologies and techniques that put him leagues ahead of traditional hosts and even most professional management companies.

We’re Georgie and Lee Davis, passionate hosts in the Hi-Desert since 2018. We fell in love with the area and became obsessed with its rich history and its significant role in the story of California and the American West.

We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards and are committed to continuous personal and professional growth. Our goal is to build a thriving community of homeowners and guests alike.

Georgie Davis

Co-founder and Head of Design and Experience

  • Georgie began her journey in short-term rental hosting in 2013 with her flat in Islington, London, where she quickly earned Airbnb Superhost status.

  • In 2017, she relocated to the High Desert and applied her keen eye for design to the aesthetic direction of full-scale remodels, interior styling, home décor, and furniture curation. 

  • As a mother of three young boys, Georgie infuses her guest communications with the warmth and attentiveness of traditional English hospitality.
